Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Chicago. Your Chicago adventure begins as you board your deluxe motorcoach in Cambridge, Ohio, and settle in for a comfortable ride to one of America’s most exciting destinations. As you travel through the scenic Midwest, get acquainted with your fellow travelers, enjoy the changing landscapes, and anticipate the memorable experiences awaiting you over the next four days.

Upon arrival in the Chicago suburb of Alsip, you’ll check into your hotel, your home for the next three nights. After getting settled, the evening is yours to unwind or enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant before preparing for an exciting day of sightseeing. Restwell tonight- the adventures begin in earnest tomorrow as we discover the remarkable story and legacy of President Barack Obama and the city, he proudly calls home.

Day 2: Guided Tour of Obama’s Chicago * Obama Presidential Center. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you’ll meet your knowledgeable local guide for a fascinating tour through the neighborhoods that helped shape the life and career of America’s 44th President. Travel through historic Hyde Park and learn about Barack Obama’s years as a community organizer; law professor; husband, and father before the journey to the White House. Along the way, you’ll see notable landmarks including his Kenwood home, the University of Chicago, and the famous Valois Restaurant, one of his favorite neighborhood eateries. As your guide shares stories and historical insights, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the people, places, and experiences that influenced his path to the presidency.

The highlight of the day is a visit to the inspiring Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park, where you’ll explore exhibits celebrating President Obama’s administration, leadership, and vision for civic engagement. You’ll leave with a greater understanding of his legacy and the Center’s mission to inspire future generations of leaders. Following this memorable day, gather with your fellow travelers for an included dinner and enjoy sharing stories about the day’s experiences.

Day 3: Chicago’s Iconic Skyline * Shopping on the Magnificent Mile. Following breakfast, prepared for one of Chicago’s signature experiences- a narrated architecture cruise along the beautiful Chicago River. Relax aboard your sightseeing boat as expert guides explain how Chicago became the birthplace of the modern skyscraper while pointing out more than forty architectural landmarks, including Tribune Tower, the Wrigley Building, Marina City, and many other iconic structures. After your cruise, enjoy free time at Navy Pier, one of Chicago’s most popular waterfront destinations, where you can browse unique shops, admire spectacular views of Lake Michigan, or simply relax along the shoreline. Lunch will be on your own at Navy-Pier.

Later, continue to the world-famous Magnificent Mile. offering blocks of premier shopping, restaurants, and exciting city life. Dinner on your own today, giving you perfect opportunity to sample Chicago favorites such as deep-dish pizza, Italian beef sandwiches, or gourmet cuisine while exploring the city at your own pace.

Day 4 Depart for Home. After one final breakfast together, it’s time to bid farewell to the Windy City as you board your deluxe motorcoach for the journey home. Relax and enjoy the ride while reflecting on the many highlights of your Chicago getaway- from walking in the footsteps of President Barack Obama and exploring the inspiring Presidential Center to cruising beneath the city’s magnificent skyline and discovering the energy of the Magnificent Mile. By purchasing these tickets, you agree to the terms and conditions below.

• No seat is reserved until the deposit is received.
• There is a $50 cancellation fee
• On day trips or Red Eye Trips refunds are only given if the seat/seats can be resold prior to departure. Refunds for the amount minus the deposit will be sent back to you.
• On Multi-Night trips refunds are as followed:
  • Cancellation 50 Days or more in Advance, full refund minus deposit to reserve your seat and any unrecoverable expenses (Tickets, Hotel, Meal Deposits, etc.)
  • Cancellation 14-50 Days in Advance Minus Deposit to reserve your seat plus 10% of the trip cost will be charged plus an uncoverable Expenses.
  • Cancellation 13 days before NO REFUND.
• Full Refunds are only given if Paradise Travel with Anita or the Bus Company cancels the trip for any reason.
• If for any reason an additional overnight is required, you are responsible for your own hotel stay.
• Travel insurance is highly recommended but optional and can be purchased at www.insuremytrip.com
