Day 2: Guided Frankenmuth City Tour – Pretzel Rolling Experience – Free Time in Frankenmuth – German Wine Tasting – World-Famous Chicken Dinner at Bavarian Inn Restaurant – Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland – After breakfast, meet your local guide for a Frankenmuth City Tour. Discover the history of this Bavarian Village replica and familiarize yourself with the shops and attractions you with to visit later.
Next, you transform yourself into German bakers. You will be led through the pretzel-rolling method, and then it is your turn to match the technique. After the pretzels are baked, you can pick up your piping hot pretzels and reap the rewards of your hard work.
Enjoy Free time this afternoon for lunch on own and shopping downtown. Stroll along beautiful Main Street with nearly 100 unique shops including Woolen mills, stylish boutiques, toy shops, sweet confectionary shops and so much more.
Also included this afternoon is a German Wine Tasting. Delight in a relaxed tasting experience as you sample three German wines at the charming Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Each pour is thoughtfully paired with a selection of cheeses and crisp crackers, creating a perfect balance of flavors. In the cozy, Old-World setting, you’ll savor the rich traditions of Germany while enjoying a leisurely moment to sip, sample, and unwind.
This evening, enjoy the World-Famous Chicken Dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Served family-style, this comforting feast features golden, crispy fried chicken alongside classic homemade sides like buttered noodles, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and freshly baked breads. In the glow of Old-World decor and welcoming hospitality, you’ll savor not just a meal, but a cozy Frankenmuth tradition that has brought families together for generations.
After dinner, enjoy a visit to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland, the world’s largest Christmas store. This remarkable store covering one and a half football fields surrounds you with the sights, sounds and spirit of Christmas. Bronner’s features more than 50,000 trims and gifts. Be sure to visit the Silent Night Chapel, where you can learn about the hymn, its composers, and the original chapel.
Day 3: Henry Ford Museum & Ford Rouge Factory Tour – Depart for Home – After breakfast, depart for Dearborn, MI as you explore Henry Ford’s Legacy. Discovering 1920’s America – its culture, inventions, people and can-do spirit – and hundreds of hands-on ways to explore it, enjoy it and be inspired by it. As Greenfield Village is closed in December, you will take the Ford Rouge Factory tour instead. Put yourself in the center of sheer manufacturing might. By purchasing these tickets, you agree to the terms and conditions below.
- No seat is reserved until the deposit is received.
- There is a $50 cancellation fee
- On day trips or Red Eye Trips refunds are only given if the seat/seats can be resold prior to departure. Refunds for the amount minus the deposit will be sent back to you.
- On Multi-Night trips refunds are as followed:
- Cancellation 50 Days or more in Advance, full refund minus deposit to reserve your seat and any unrecoverable expenses (Tickets, Hotel, Meal Deposits, etc.)
- Cancellation 14-50 Days in Advance Minus Deposit to reserve your seat plus 10% of the trip cost will be charged plus an uncoverable Expenses.
- Cancellation 13 days before NO REFUND.
- Full Refunds are only given if Paradise Travel with Anita or the Bus Company cancels the trip for any reason.
- If for any reason an additional overnight is required, you are responsible for your own hotel stay.
